Dirty dirty dirty

Yes indeed, dirty - but funny too. Remember Ken Kaniff "..now give it back to Shaggy, he was sucking it better..." , formerly a Marshall Mathers alter-ego? Well he now seems to have been taken over by someone else and boy have they run with the idea. Lots of Ken Kaniff songs can be found here. There doesn't appear to be any semblence of track order so don't worry which you download first.

Some of this stuff does stray a little over the line in terms of acceptablility - especially the ditty Don't Tell Daddy, which is just plain sick. Still doesn't stop me listening to it though.

If I were in the States I'd be obliged to put a Parental Advisory sticker on this post right now, but as I'm in the UK let this pollute your pure, juvenile minds :)

Denkmal

I like a German band, just the one mind - I'm not making a habit of it. In fact, who'd of thought you could actually sing in German?

The band are called Wir sind Helden and they play more of that catchy rock I'm so fond of.

After a quick trawl of the net I found quite a few tracks here, I think the tracks are pretty unlikely to last long here though so get 'em quick. If you only download one for a taster make it Denkmal. The lead singer is a bit of a hottie, so if you can get the video for this song then it may improve your initial reception of them too :)

*** The above directory sucks - the files are there but won't play in my Media Player - get Denkmal from here instead.***

MP3 Blogs

I love MP3 blogs, so I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and give you links to some good tunes and artists all vetted by either my goodself or an even bigger music buff - my mate Stuart. All music should be legal (either that or a link to some other mugs site first) - after all I'm not really after a C&D letter...

Firstly I'd like to introduce The Dammitheads- From their own website:
"They are a rock and roll entity about as alternative as The Clash. While the name seems to allude to a group of people, it actually serves as the creative writing/recording vehicle and schizophrenic alter ego for one otherwise begrudgingly titled singer/songwriter named David Tomaloff."

If you like catchy rock you can find out more about the band and download 4 tracks from their current release Freeze Motherstickers... here.

P.S. You might first wish to download the tool I used to organise and speed up the process of downloading - Internet Download Manager available in a 30 day trial version here.
